We received a phone call from Cliff Lee, a VP with NV
Homes. He stated that he was unfamiliar with our situation,
and asked that we take down the site while he reviews the facts
concerning our case. As a courtesy to Mr. Lee, we agreed to
pause the site. We reserve our right to resume the site at a
later date.

NVHomes has decided to proceed with their original repair
proposal dated 11/15/06. To date, they have not proposed a repair
solution with which we are 100% comfortable. Depending on how their
repairs and the rest of the construction proceed, we will resume
and publicize this web site as we deem necessary.

Despite our written notices, water has been leaking into the house for
several weeks. This despite the house being in a finished state
(insulation has been installed, drywall has been painted, and cabinets and floor
tiles are being installed). We are now facing a new long-term concern:
Mold, mildew and fungi.

April 16, 2006, 11:50 AM
Today - just three days before settlement - a significant amount of
water was discovered leaking into the basement. NVHomes had originally set
our settlement date for April 13, but I happened to reschedule due to travel.
Had we settled on the 13th, we would have purchased a leaking house - despite
the Production Manager's written assurances that "NVHomes will not deliver a
house with leaks or mold present." With repairs underway, it remains to be
seen when we settle.

Under these new circumstances,
our decision to resume and publicize this website in its original (albeit
updated) form depends largely upon whether significant defects arise following
settlement, and whether those issues should have been addressed during
construction. Time will tell.

June 14, 2007, 1:15 PM (POST-SETTLEMENT)
Yesterday, water was discovered leaking into the basement - despite NVHomes'
supposed repairs back in April, before settlement. As such, we plan to
resume and publicize this site in its original form, in an effort to share our
experiences with prospective buyers of NV Homes.
